Le 17 octobre était dévoilé, lors d'une cérémonie organisée à Singapour, le classement 2023 des 50 meilleurs #bars du monde, établi chaque année par #WilliamReed. Ce prestigieux classement est basé sur les votes de plus de 600 experts, consultants et critiques du monde entier. Et, cette année encore, le bar parisien Little Red Door est classé dans les dix premiers. L'établissement du 3e arrondissement de Paris, qui a figuré neuf fois dans le classement depuis son ouverture en 2012 grâce à ses menus "conceptuels mais accessibles, inspirés par l'art, la perception des saveurs, l'anthropologie et les sciences sociales", arrive cette année sixième, soit une place plus bas qu'en 2022.
La première place revient cette année encore à un bar de Barcelone, Sips, qui s'était classé troisième l'année dernière. Sips, situé au cœur du quartier de L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample, détrône ainsi un autre établissement barcelonais incontournable : Paradiso, un bar à cocktails et speakeasy légendaire de la ville, auquel on accède par le réfrigérateur d'un magasin de sandwichs. Le podium est ensuite complété par le Double Chicken Please de New York, qui est passé de la sixième place en 2022 à la deuxième cette année, et par le Handshake Speakeasy de Mexico, qui est passé de la onzième à la troisième place.
