Good to see that the bandwidth used per session is still very low - I remember demoing #WinFrame over 56 Kb/s modems "back in the day"(which seldom connected at that speed)

It's great to see that the @Citrix #WinFrame name, not used since the 1990s, is still alive and well in the latest @CitrixAppDesktp versions 🤣 Oh and 64 bit executables in "Program Files x86"

@adbertram Almost arrived at customer but car ran out of fuel so customer I'd never met came & took me to get fuel but on return their car park was full so went to overflow car park & got rained on. No @Citrix #WinFrame installation media so had to call colleague & floppy got stuck in drive

Another £30 UKP spent to procure 24GB RAM and my trusty @HP Proliant ML350 G6 is maxed out at a measly 72GB of RAM & running @VMware ESXi 6.7u1 very nicely. I remember the days of putting in @Citrix #WinFrame servers when 2GB RAM cost about £10K!

And, lo, there was 48GB RAM in my home lab @VMware #ESXi server. Can't complain at 30 UK pounds for 24GB. I remember installing @Citrix #WinFrame & #MetaFrame servers in the 1990's when 1GB of RAM cost over £1000 & 4GB was about the most they could take with 4 processors maximum
