I can't be the only one who thinks @stephafogarty's speedy email replies make it feel like this course has 24/7 customer support helpline 😂 #WTP18
Managed to make some clear links between this/last weeks Social and Public Policy content to the first video of this weeks WTP. I like being able to see where the learning in the two different areas comes together. #WTP18
#WTP18 really important stuff!

It was interesting to reflect during this weeks task, especially relating to my personal values and my summative assessment topic. #WTP18

‘A Teacher’ Lament’
‘Besides, I forgot my own work,
At home in my study drawer’
Really puts the thought tha teachers aren’t always organised and they are just like everyone else. However relating to the poem, it shows they can be hypocritical too🙄🙃 #WTP18
"Those people are called behavioural problems"-Noam Chomsky. So true. There's a fine line between non-conforming and naughty behaviour and many teachers/schools are too quick to label a child rather than adjust lessons which provide room for creativity and independence #WTP18
A Teachers Lament by Kelli Dakos. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this poem, it was very two sided. From first reading, I assumed it was a humorous account of a teacher’s life. However, after analysing i feel its possibly a teacher who is ineffective or perhaps demotivated. #WTP18
“And study books and listen to what you are told, And sometimes try to remeber” This lines of Nemerov’s poem, made me think about how students are unmotivated with schools. We, as future teachers, have the power and responsibility to make learning more than just remeber #WTP18
Found week 8 tasks very interesting! Was fascinated by the video clips, especially the one by Noam Chomsky on how education once did not accept creativity, imagination and questions in the classroom and instead we had to be obedient and regurgitate what was learnt #WTP18
Enjoyed this weeks activity, I never thought looking further into ‘The Simpsons’ teachers would enhance my learning as it has done! #WTP18
Really enjoyed this weeks task for WTP. As someone who is interested in film and TV, it was very interesting to pick apart the portrayal of teachers more and learn more about this. #WTP18
I really enjoy exploring this technological tools for presentations, for sure I will use them when I’m back home, specially Prezi. I really like how interactive is it and that it has many tools that helps to make the presentation very complete and professional. #WTP18
Spoiled for choice between Prezi, Google Slides, and Microsoft Sway. I hope my group's more decisive than me #WTP18
Today I became aware of Prezi viewer, this is definitely something I will use during my course! It will help me make my presentations 100% more exciting and more understanding. The app is very convenient, making it easier for me to access it! #WTP18
