To be honest, I've spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out what #PDGETech means with "introduce yourself professionally"... those same 10 minutes I had this in my head.

Subtitles aren't just for deaf people. Lots of my hearing friends use them, too. If you're hearing and find yourself using subtitles on Netflix and TV and would quite like them at the cinema, please retweet to help normalise their presence! Big thanks #DeafAwarenessWeek
My top tips for #DeafAwarenessWeek are:
1. Learn British Sign Language
2. Learn BSL
3. Learn the local sign language (in the UK, that’s BSL)
4. If you’ve already learned some BSL, you’ll want to learn more, so do that
5. You won’t regret learning as much BSL as you possibly can.
Just wanted to say well done and thanks to everyone involved in @UofGEducation's workshop yesterday on how to make the university an autism-enabling environment. And thanks for having me! Perfect timing for #AutismAwareness/

"The Mental Health Act treats autism as a special case, there’s a specific Act of Parliament that recommends that police forces should engage with partners to undertake training, and a mandatory self-assessment to inform the Department of Health as to progress."

Psychologist leading NHS Mindfulness course rolls her eyes, complains that I’m ‘forever bringing up’ that I’m autistic.
I do this because the course isn’t adapted for autistics & in places doesn’t work for me; I need suitable alternatives. This bores her.

@NeuroRebel Ironically I'm afraid it might harm my chances of advancement working with autistic children. I mention small things I relate to when relevant, but I don't know if I'll ever be completely #OpenlyAutistic
