Producing even toothpick here is not easy, u have many factors to deal with, but the satisfaction of our customers is key.
Do not forget, the specs of this model is slightly higher than the imported rival making waves, the 'oversabi' pple among us should take note!
We cannot grow or become better if u do not patronize indigenous products!

The technology may already exist, but that doesn't mean that Nigeria has it. CFM International, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, GE, etc do not share the patents or blueprints behind their jet engines. They only share generalised information and basic operating principles. So as a recipient of that generalised information, you might "know" how a jet engine works, but they will never share what metal alloys they used to make their engines, their design specifications to make it fuel efficient, wind tunnel testing data, safety testing data etc. In reality, you are not much closer to having that technology than a farmer in the 16th century. All you have is the ability to rent temporary access to it by paying money to the manufacturers and their designated maintenance companies.
This means that every jet engine in Africa is foreign-made, and all significant maintenance involving proprietary knowledge on those engines is usually done abroad, which means vast amounts of USD must be spent regularly just to keep Africa's airspace running, and the US government can ground almost every plane in Africa if it likes by issuing sanctions that prevent engine manufacturers or maintenance firms from doing business with African airlines.
That isn't theoretical BTW. It's exactly what happened to Russia in 2022, when NATO sanctions against Russia made Russian Airlines unable to access spare parts and supplies to keep their Boeing and Airbus fleets operational. And that's why Russia accelerated its indigenous Yakovlev MC-21 program, which has created a fully homegrown alternative to the Boeing 737 with indigenous engines, body, and avionics.
Just because a technology exists and you have access to it does not mean that you have the technology, especially when it is a complex technology like aircraft engines. You're basically just renting space on it from the technology owner, and if you have a geopolitical disagreement with the owner, it can lock you out and return you to the stone age at any time. That's why countries often need to "reinvent the wheel."
If Nigeria ever becomes a wealthy and important country in the future, US trade sanctions are 100% guaranteed. To prepare for those inevitable sanctions, multiple technologies that we are currently renting must be fully localised. Not that they impose sanctions and then we realise that we can't build roads anymore because the technology to drive bridge pillar piles into a river bed was something we were just renting from white people. That's why Ziko's jet engine is important. It won't power a passenger aircraft anytime soon, but it provides the technical foundation to even begin that project.
If your country has no Ziko's, then you don't own your country. All of you are just tenants of richer countries.
Man with the dream working tirelessly to make it a reality...
I celebrate you...
God speed...

Anduril is doing really Amazing stuff
This is exactly what we are working on with our jet engine project
They have reached the finish line🥲
We will catch up very soon⚡️
#Zedora
YFQ-44A took flight today. Anduril has launched a new age of airpower with the push of a button.
From clean-sheet design to one-click takeoff in 556 days.
We have done the ground speed tests of our scrap pan UAV/UGV😂 powered by our made in Nigeria Turbojet engine on the airport runway ✅
Full Video of the runway test drops tonight 😁
I must say, it was really impressive
Our jet engine is indeed powerful🔥
Stay tuned

This is the original concept design & build of our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle PROTOTYPE✅
It is made of 60% aluminum cladding
30% light gauge iron pipes & pan for the frame
And 10% stainless steel pan at the wings & rudder
Fully loaded, it weighs about 65kg⚠️
We will detach the wings for our speed tests, I have explained that it is currently too risky to attempt a flight sequence due to the new runway, imagine a 65kg projectile slamming into a new runway they spent billions to build from the air at 60 kmh, so until I am more confident in the stability & control of the system on the ground, all flight tests remain pending or until we have a less 'risky' facility for extreme testing.
Our Turbojet engine has a dry thrust of about 20kg at full throttle and 60% plus on full afterburner mode.
This is indeed a heavy prototype ⚠️
And thrust to weight ratio is quite low
After this test, more iterations of the UAV will be built majorly with composite materials; carbon Fibre etc to make it lighter
That's the purpose of R&D
To determine the variables that are the most ideal for stable operation, we have gotten the jet engine right, now it's fuselage & avionics ✅.
As I always say, our aerospace project is a marathon, not a sprint.
Other countries have developed jet powered unmanned aerial systems like the MQ-reaper🇺🇸, Bayrakter etc
It is time to start building cool stuff like others, developing our own systems will make them more affordable, accessible & ubiquitous to not just Nigeria, but Africa as a whole.

@zikohercules Great work chief, your dedication to building Nigeria's indigenous aerospace program is truly inspiring.

Imagine the top speed of the Jet if the Afterburner mode was ON😂
Rocket flames shooting out the exhaust 🔥
The crash would have been more devastating
I'm starting to see this as a win
We are painstakingly rebuilding & upgrading
Full runway test video drops tonight
#Zedora

Jet Runway test clip:
The video crew are still processing the full video
The control system for the Jet was not giving good feedback, it kept swerving left and right until I lost control & it crashed 🤦🏻♂️
Look how fast the jet is even without the Afterburner 🔥, now imagine the speed with AB ON🚀
The narrow road was also a problem, if it was an air strip there'll be enough space to avoid a crash, it's just unfortunate that we couldn't use the airport 🤦🏻♂️
Today's test cost us about ₦98,000; Security, fuel, video crew, tp...
We will rebuild the test bed and try again next weekend
The full video of the test will be out tomorrow

Out in service to ZEDORA 🚀
Still chasing my dreams & our vision nonstop
I'll keep dropping hints & speaking in parables, until the time is right.
We are putting in alot of work
I won't lie, it's very tough, mentally & psychologically🤦🏻♂️
But we will NEVER give up
#Zedora🇳🇬

On the go again....
Chasing our vision at all cost
Hopefully this move brings great progress and fortune
May God answer our prayers and bless the work of our hands, may God bless us all in our different endeavors
#Zedora

Everyday tackle new issues and keep advancing , I've enjoyed seeing this improve overtime 🥂⚡ #zedora
Here we go guys✅🚀
The jet engine survived the stress test✅
We pushed the engine to full power(100% throttle and 100% Afterburner) for about 12 minutes nonstop.
It was critically loud, violent and powerful 🔥
My neighbor's police orderly said whenever they hear a very loud sound they know I'm back in town🤣
After the stress test the jet turbine blades still looked brand new✅, this means the exhaust design is near perfect ✅
The Exhaust Gas Temperature never exceeded 860 degrees Celsius even on afterburner mode✅, although the flame shooting out is over a thousand degrees Celsius ⚠️
For the first time, I saw some blue AB flames which looked cool🥶
On standard operation, the jet engine can now run for hours nonstop as long as there's fuel✅
The Afterburner mode pushes the engine power further, tho we have to limit it's duration due to the nature of the exhaust material currently being used.
We are finally ready to take this beast to a runway and let it loose✅🚀
We will start making the arrangements immediately, thank you for your support, stay tuned as we do great things together 🙌

Off to another location for the ministry
I really wish I could tell you what I am doing, but for now, let's just be moving🚀
