More Ontario school boards in deficit, using reserves: Ministry documents. This is what happens when the Ford government continues to shortchange #onted public education! https://t.co/lUT6ClbEcK #onpoli

The average citizen is unaware of failings like this, but then the government saturates the media with stories about “banning cellphones and vapes” and “back to basics” which make for great headlines and sound bites without actually meaning much. #OntEd
@breakfasttv There is no “gender ideology” in schools. Students are taught inclusion and to value all identities. We strive to make schools safe spaces for everyone. The media is doing harm by trying to “both sides” this, and treat lies, fear mongering, and bigotry like valid concerns.
@ONeducation We need the "Downloadables" to be updated for the new Language Curriculum. The online version is not easily navigated for planning purposes. Please make this a higher priority.
Yesterday, I asked Minister Lecce for the fifth time what the school repair backlog is in Ontario. He still would not answer.
Parents deserve to know why their kids are in crumbling schools.

“…the govt displayed no respect for its educators by releasing the new elementary mathematics curriculum on June 23, 2020 for immediate implementation.”
And they’ll repeat this mistake again when they launch the new Language curriculum.
Shame. #onted https://t.co/UabyvF8q5C
Bill 124 was sold as necessary due to a "looming financial crisis".
The court ruled this argument to be false!
Ford govt gave their wealthy friends tax cuts while hospitals & schools struggled w/ staff shortages caused by #Bill124! #OntEd#OnPoli https://t.co/XZ0o5RS4TF
Ford's Conservatives just voted against this easy solution to bring conflict of interest rules for MPPs to be inline with those of the Ontario Public Service and federal MPs.
We will keep fighting to bring integrity, transparency & accountability back to Queen's Park. #onpoli
On Tuesday—May 2—thousands of front-line RNs, RPNs, medical lab technologists, health care aides, cleaners, clerical & other hospital staff at @KingstonHSC are going public with their fight to stop @fordnation plan to privatize the patient care.
