Pistocchino a 70 anni già rincoglionito e dimentica scudetti Roma e Lazio.
Ha rimosso Nakata con cambio regole 2 giorni prima di Juve-Roma e Perugia con 1 ora di stop per giocare a pallanuoto.
Eppure all'epoca lavorava.
Portava i caffè a Pressing, no?
Lifting heavy weights produces an acute spike in testosterone that peaks about 30 minutes after the session ends. A 2010 review in Sports Medicine confirmed that resistance training is the most effective form of exercise for raising testosterone levels in men, and the effect is dose-dependent: heavier loads and larger muscle groups produce bigger spikes.
The review, led by Jakob Vingren at the University of North Texas, found that compound lifts, movements that use multiple joints and large muscles like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses, produced the largest testosterone response. Isolation exercises like bicep curls produced little or none. The body calibrates the hormonal response to the demand: bigger effort, bigger signal.
The spike is temporary, lasting about 30 to 60 minutes, and it does not permanently raise baseline testosterone levels. But the acute response matters because testosterone in the blood following a workout helps drive muscle protein synthesis, the process that repairs and grows the fibres you just stressed. The window after a heavy session is when the body is most receptive to building.
The review also found that training experience matters. Beginners show a smaller hormonal response than experienced lifters, because the nervous system in a beginner is still learning to recruit enough muscle fibres to trigger the full cascade. After several months of consistent training, the testosterone response grows larger, which is one reason why experienced lifters continue to make gains even when the routine stays the same.
Running, cycling, and swimming do not produce the same response. Endurance exercise can actually lower testosterone if done at high volume. The body designed the hormonal reward for effort, not for distance, and the barbell earns it faster than the road. https://t.co/bYU7kSaxcT
After just 10 hours of social isolation, seeing people socializing triggers a midbrain craving response similar to seeing food after fasting.
The brain craves human connection.
Scientists found that the creatine supplement millions take for muscle gains is quietly raising brain energy levels and slowing early Alzheimer's cognitive decline by 30%
