NEW GTA 6 DETAILS:

- GTA 6 features four known Criminal Profile states: Professional, Aggressive, Violent and Psycho. Unlike the Honor system in RDR2, Criminal Profile is designed to represent the type of criminal you are rather than simply whether you are good or bad.

- There is an additional state beyond Psycho. If players commit enough extreme actions, the Criminal Profile icon can begin to shatter and eventually break completely, leaving the profile permanently locked for that playthrough.

- Jason and Lucia have separate Criminal Profiles, meaning one could be Professional while the other is Psycho. These different profiles may affect how certain parts of the story unfold.

- Maintaining a Professional profile requires restraint and control during crimes, such as avoiding unnecessary killing or injuries and handling situations cleanly.

- Criminal Profile does not use a constantly changing Honor-style bar. Instead, players move between different states, which can be checked on-screen and through the character menu.

- Rockstar will allow players to disable Criminal Profile notifications, while those who don’t want to engage with the system can still cause as much chaos as they want.

- GTA 6 features a dedicated menu for Jason and Lucia showing their character models, individual Criminal Profiles, relationship status and other information.

- The romantic relationship between Jason and Lucia is optional. Players can nurture them as lovers, keep them closer to friends and partners in crime, or allow their romantic relationship to drift by ignoring it.

- The relationship system also uses different states rather than a traditional relationship meter and may influence how parts of the story unfold.

- There are no traditional predefined dates. Instead, players can create their own dates dynamically by spending time together, with Rockstar specifically mentioning activities such as visiting the zoo, kayaking or walking along the beach.

- Ignoring the romantic relationship will not remove either character from the campaign. Jason and Lucia remain partners in crime and continue working together regardless of how romantically close they become.

- Playing primarily as only Jason or Lucia also won’t break the pair apart, and Rockstar says neglecting the relationship won’t result in the other character constantly nagging the player.

- Rockstar designed Criminal Profile and the relationship system to give players more choice in how they roleplay, with different approaches potentially creating different outcomes and encouraging multiple playthroughs.
