Hello, this is the ATOK Team.

Recently, there has been a growing number of fraud cases in the global Web3 market involving peer-to-peer (P2P) token transactions. To help protect our community, we would like to share the following important notice.

1️⃣ Beware of P2P Trading Scams

Recently, various scam cases have been reported in which users pay for tokens but never receive them, or transfer tokens but never receive the agreed payment from the other party.

Please note that the ATOK Team cannot verify, mediate, or compensate for any losses resulting from private P2P transactions. We strongly urge all community members to exercise extreme caution when engaging in such transactions.

2️⃣ Monitoring the Circulation of Illegitimately Obtained ATOK Tokens

The ATOK Team continuously monitors the circulation of ATOK Tokens obtained through unauthorized means, including the use of bots, abuse of the system, or other fraudulent activities.

If you become involved in the circulation of such tokens even unintentionally your account may become subject to investigation, temporarily locked, or temporarily restricted while the matter is being reviewed.

For this reason, please exercise extreme caution when purchasing or receiving ATOK Tokens through private P2P transactions from unverified or unknown sources, as doing so may expose you to unnecessary risks.

📌 ATOK Team Recommendation

The ATOK Team does not recommend trading ATOK Tokens with individuals whose identity cannot be verified.

To avoid any disadvantages or account restrictions associated with illegally circulated tokens, we strongly recommend refraining from private P2P transactions with unverified parties whenever possible.
