@desiree_krick@SusieMo31258381 @PentagonPresSec The worst people here, though? The contractors. Speaks volumes that they didn’t/don’t have a plan for these dogs and aren’t doing everything in their power to get them out. Unless there’s an effort we’re unaware of, that’s disgraceful.
@desiree_krick@SusieMo31258381 @PentagonPresSec This was on the radar for one of our founders as early as 2009 - someone finally wrote a good article on them

@desiree_krick@SusieMo31258381 @PentagonPresSec Not following either, at all. It seems what this woman is doing is heroic and very brave, but the connection with SPCAi is concerning. That organization has been dishonestly taking money from well meaning donors and directing it to just about anything but animals for decades.
@PentagonPresSec SPCAi is a crooked organization. For years, almost all of their funds have gone to production of paraphernalia made by an organization that is basically... SPCAi. So we don't trust them. Hatch takes no political positions but is very concerned about the question above.
@PentagonPresSec John, with all due respect, do you honestly think anyone cares about the distinction between official military dogs and contractor's dogs? The question is simply: did these dogs assist US forces in Afghanistan. If the answer is yes, leaving them behind is an abomination.
On the to be killed list in October, Hunter sees the ocean for the first time. And plays with his sister, who was on another kill list six and a half years ago. #ClearTheShelters https://t.co/9jGtxwg78B via @YouTube
@therealmirman@JoyceWhiteVance I'm biased, but I truly believe this is the best carrier on the market (this is my company's twitter account). We rescued a kitten under similar circumstances on PA primary day in 2012 - and named the kitten Bama!
