My friend asked me to marry her husband after she dies. But the husband is something else.
Before my friend died, she told me to marry her husband so that I can help her take care of the kids. We were both very close, I do frequent their house and do sleep over sometimes, people think we are sisters but we are not.
I thought catching my husband on our matrimonial bed with another woman was the worst day of my life, I never knew more was awaiting me. My parent came, my husband and his mom kept begging me, I couldn't cope with what had happened, I became depressed and went for counselling for months. Eventually my parent convinced me to go back but I had condition.
Only for me to walk in on my dad ontop of my aunty. My dad has been begging me not to tell my mom that it will destroy our family and honestly I don't want that. But seeing my mom sitting and laughing with the two people that betrayed her and probably still betraying her hurts me to the bone. Please do you think I should tell my mom or just keep quiet?
So she didn't want to take any chances with her husband and her children which is just a mother protecting her home. Only for me to come back home from school the other day unannounced because our school bus was faulty, so a friend of mine parent dropped me off at our gate. Usually the school bus would honk so someone from inside can come get me. I just walked in and wanted to go get my mom second laptop so I can use it for my homework asap before removing my school uniform.
49 years ago today America lost the King. Elvis Presley passed at just 42, right before he was set to hit the road again. From Tupelo to the world stage, he didn’t just make music ,he changed it.
The voice, the style, the presence… still unmistakable nearly half a century later.
There really was only one.
Rest easy, Elvis. 👑
This happened in seconds… and it could happen in any home with a curious child.
Children are naturally curious. They climb, pull, push, and explore because that is how they learn about the world. The problem is, they don’t understand danger the way adults do.
