Many men often believe that it is as simple as saying “no” to avoid falling victim to crimes.

But many women know that it is not that simplistic. There is the fear of the potential violent reaction of the perpetrator when you “just say no”.

Others believe that the male-dominated space that is venture capitalist investment may greatly influence the decision-making process when it comes to funding start-ups through their implicit bias against women, deterring women from even attempting to embark upon start-ups.
