Also the reprinting of Stormy Blast is so stupid. If they want to bring back cards for rotation they should just do what hearthstone does and have a rotating core set.

Chronicle of Destiny is a bit disappointing. I think they should have leaned more heavily into the story characters for cards. It is a big letdown having a set based on the anniversary of Shadowverse and focusing on the past stories and then having half the cards not be from the

smaller set sizes. As an aside, another issue is the reluctance to give cards traits. I thought Mars was going to be very good until I realized that only the tokens have the officer trait. I think traits are a great way to theme an archetype and it just isn't a thing in WB.

I don't think this was necessarily the correct hit for abyss but whatever. I think increasing the cost of the token was better. I don't think there was a good way to handle the nerfs without hitting multiple cards and they seem to really hate giving out free vials from nerfs.

It's a real shame that every set I think "Maybe Haven won't be trash this expansion" and then it turns out Haven still has no real wincon. Amulet is just not there yet and Lyanthoth is too expensive, relies on the evo point, requires too much setup, and the wincon also needs the

same setup that building the faith requires. It can always get good depending on the meta and support surrounding it but man does it feel rough to play. It really is insane to me how they just don't want to print wincons for Haven. Even crest haven was just stall until Marwynn

Haven't had time really to get much into this expansion but so far Evolve Forest and Enhance Sword seem like the winners. Wouldn't shock me though if Loot Sword and Egg Portal come back into play as the top tier though once people tire of the novelty of the new cards.

@theswoderman 2. Awesome just means to inspire awe in this context. Doesn't need a comparison to anything else. Song is pretty old so more modern usage or slang usage of the word doesn't really apply.

@theswoderman 1. Difference between noun and proper noun. Even if you believe there is only one god, for communication purposes you still need a word to explain it in general terms. Probably used here more for flow of the song than anything else. No need to look into it closer but is funny.

more closely though so there are probably some interactions with existing cards that I am missing. I really hope that Crystalspawn Rune is playable since it reminds me of Chess Rune. I also like the Haven stuff but they might still be missing a few things to make amulet strong.

The Apocalypse Pact set seems interesting. Not sure if it will make a big impact or not. A lot of the archetypes they are pushing are lacking a bit. I wish abyss had a bit more cohesiveness though. What they got seems to not really follow a theme. I haven't had the time to look
