Protesters have taken to the streets of Mombasa in a peaceful demonstration to demand justice for victims of police brutality and extrajudicial killings.

The marchers, carrying placards and chanting slogans, made their way to the County Commissioner’s office to deliver a petition calling for urgent government intervention. Key among their demands are the arrest of officers implicated in unlawful killings, compensation for affected families, and a commitment to end police impunity.

The demonstrators are also calling on the @IPOA_KE to conduct impartial, thorough, and transparent investigations into reported cases of brutality.

Protesters say justice delayed is justice denied, and they insist that accountability must be swift and genuine. These peaceful protests reflect growing public frustration and the urgent need for reforms within Kenya’s security institutions.
