I like this portrait of our Lord. Our Lord in his incarnation takes on our human nature (in all of it, except sin) and since his foster father, St Joseph, the carpenter, one would assume that our Lord would learn the trade from him. Could we imagine one day when the Blessed Virgin Mary standing at the foot of the cross to see the nails that her son played with them when he was young? Let’s learn from our Lord and his holy parents to enjoy time, work, recreational activities with our family. St. Joseph, patron of all who work, intercede for us.
