Let's go, Tennessee!
Politicians Promise. Hatley Delivers.
Wow. More than 200 Tennesseans showed up tonight for one reason: they're done with the two-party system.
We're fighting for real results on affordability, education, crime, transparency, infrastructure and more.
This November, let's put the people first!
What a few days. So many hardworking Tennesseans I’ve met ready for real change, and for a leader who'll roll up his sleeves and get to work for them.
Every one of them deserves a governor who's worried about them, not their buddies in Nashville. #BuiltNotBought
Are you a Christian?" I get asked that a lot on the road.
Yes, and I'm proud to say it. My faith shaped who I am, and how I lead. It won't stay at the door of the Capitol. It will help guide every decision I make as your next Governor.
More than 403,000 Republicans voted for someone other than Marsha in the primary. They want the swamp drained. So do I. No party bosses. No PAC money. No one in Nashville I owe. #BuiltNotBought
Both of my opponents answer to their party, and PACs before answering to you. I’m an independent and 100% self-funded for this reason— I only answer to you. This election, vote the person, not the party.
Tennesseans keep telling me it's harder to afford a life here.
Here's my plan: cut the grocery tax, freeze the gas tax, end property taxes for disabled vets and cut it 50% for seniors 65+ earning under $64K, plus cap how fast property taxes can rise, and fund our schools so your town doesn't have to raise yours.
And I'll hire an independent auditor to find the waste in state government, so that money goes back to supporting families who are struggling.
In Tennessee, a company can bid on a state contract and write a check to the politicians deciding who gets it. In my business, that's a conflict of interest. In Nashville, it's legal. That's what's wrong with politics, and it's what I'll fight to change as governor.
Tennessee tried to execute Christa Pike last night and failed.
It's the 4th execution crisis in 4 years: Oscar Smith, Byron Black, Tony Carruthers, now this.
A pause till January isn't leadership. We need a full, independent investigation and a moratorium until it's fixed.
You know how you currently get things “done” in politics right now? Get out your check book. One of my opponents, is currently taking 20,000 through her handler to get in front of Marsha, when she “becomes” Governor. This is why I’m running. This ends day ONE when I’m in office. #ElectTheOutsider
A politicians first question is “How will this look?” A builder asks two: “Will it work?” and “How do we pay for it?” Tennessee needs a governor who asks both before he spends a dime of your money. #PoliticiansTalkBuildersDeliver
Jerri Green's biggest check came from a PAC. Outside PACs are spending millions for Marsha. I don't take PAC money, special-interest money or individual donations. Not one dollar. Nobody is buying this governor & on day one, we will put a bill in to BAN this. #BuiltNotBought
Gibson County, TN. Wow! Thank you to Scott’s Pizza for the best homemade pizza I’ve had. Who would have known we also have the largest teapot collection in the world, right here in Trenton,TN. And a 31mph speed limit.

Stop hiding behind your puppets @VoteMarsha and show up for these charities who you can make a huge impact for so many by doing what you should anyway— answering to the people of Tennessee.
