Deeply frustrating news today that the #EnvironmentBill will be delayed (again). Gvt appears to acknowledge the need for new laws to protect and restore our environment and yet, time and again, has failed to seize the opportunity presented by this legislation.

The Environment Bill was supposed to be a flagship bill of this Parliament – but the Govt. has completely failed to get it through this session.

As the UK prepares to host COP 26, this is deeply embarrassing and undermines its credibility.
