@SwannMarcus89 This is relatively true. But it is also is going to very widely state to state. I don't really blame lefties pushing for their guy as more electable in more progressive/heavy blue or populist swinging states. I don't think the marginal voter is inherently left v right.
@dtoxmilenko I mean optical media is kinda crap. The issue is consoles having terrible locked down digital copies. But I don't think mailing a B to latch onto optical is a viable solution. fixing PSN/Xbox store to be more like GoG or at least steam is really the only prosumer move.
@NewsProspector@K__Med But that's cause it's obviously correct?
I remember an entire Internet meltdown of people complaining about how Cp2077 ran on PS4 that changed a full 180 when it ran better. I tried gta V on ps3 and it was borderline unplayable so I waited for PC. And those are crossgen games.
@SynthPotato Considering the current market it's "fair" and I think the markup over consoles is about right. The issue is consoles are already WAY more than they should be. Hard to justify buying any new hardware if you have anything that can run a game.
@TheChaosWeeber I think it's important for leaders to address Canada's problems instead of pretending it's all sunshine and rainbows. But if you make up or exagerate problems, you can't meaningfully solve the real ones. That and come off as woefully unpatriotic.
@GilA29699944@CoopTory Yes. But you said he paid capital gains tax. If he sold them, he would have already paid capital gains tax. He's paying the same tax as if he stayed in Canada. Just early because you don't pay tax in Canada when you no longer live here.
@andrew_leach Yeah. I mean you can make a criticism of any tax policy if you put your mind to it. But playing the woe is me card because you substantially outsaves your TFSA/RRSP cap or have investment properties to the point you have sizable capital gains is nauseating.
@xwanyex@yhdistyminen You said "mail in ballots are doomed to cause suspicion because they violate our core intuitions about the privacy of the voting booth." But this intuition of yours is wrong. Are are you now claiming there *is* significant mail in ballot election fraud rigging elections?
@Constan70997526@3LeftsMkeARight@conorsvan1 I don't mean this to be rude. But the fact you think internet anecdotes and your emotions are more relevant than actual statistics suggests you aren't really capable of adult conversations.
@3LeftsMkeARight@Constan70997526@conorsvan1 So Gastown is such a ghetto that you once got yelled at? and you are thinking this justifies murder? I think you are making my case for me lmfao.
@3LeftsMkeARight@Constan70997526@conorsvan1 I don't know what Gaston is. I think you are thinking of Gastown, which you are confusing with the the DTES. Van has no ghettos. the DTES is dilapidated as hell and the homelessness/addiction/mental health epidemic there is out of control. But he is still objectively wrong.
@Constan70997526@conorsvan1 I've experienced no violence here in 30 years. I have gone to shows at the rickshaw for 15 of them. It's fair to say then there is 0 violence in BC. My experience trumps stats and you can not argue otherwise.
@GeoffRuss3 I just need them to make this permanent so fucking bad. I've driven downtown countless times. I take the train even more. We don't *need* cars in Granville street man.
