@KaiserBauch@KMaminski They all have a lower current TFR than NH White Americans and that is without segregating natives from migrants. Only Danes currently have around the same TFR, but they had lower TFR in the late 20th century. NH Whites do better than Euro whites across the board.
@cybelethebest@jakozloski Why would you want women to be unsuccessful? The reason the past was "trad" is because there was a lot of housework. New technology made the housewife and domestic servants obsolete. A "trad" wife isn't possible in today's world anymore. You can only cosplay it.
@akarlin 2036 is probably too early unless the US economic/political status quo radically changed. But at least by 2056 it's better for normies just by current trends continuing.
@Dljokl Also, adults with children spent less time on work now and more on raising the future. It depresses current GDP in favor of long-term GDP growth.
@corruptNovelist@Robotbeat Weight is not a good example. There are extreme outliers without a hard-but-gradual limit. Height works better. But maybe the best is sperm swimming speed. Some are immotile/barely motile and substantially below average and few are at the very top with a gradual-yet-sudden drop.
@ArtemisConsort It has relevance when people complain about the lack of female nobel prize winners or the dominance of "great men" compared to "great women" in historiography.
@gooliebo3456@zardos_@GilberteDSL Fertility dropped rapidly after the 1890s when condoms became reliable and normalized. The birthrate in many cities (like Vienna) was lower in the 1930s without the anti-baby pill than at any year afterwards. Female sexual autonomy didn't play a major role in birthrate decline.
