i think my feelings about hokum is affected by my lack of familiarity with irish folklore, so some things may have gone over my head 😅 i am curious about them now tho! overall, it was okay!

i *love* a solid folklore horror! i just finished watching hokum today and enjoyed it, but i much prefer the strange unreality of backrooms. i love, love, LOVE when structures/places is antagonistic and the people who have been in them are fundamentally changed.
