Extremely saddened to hear that the Wajima-nuri craftspeople I was up in Noto documenting last year have lost everything in the quake. Their workshop and extensive collection of lacquerware, parts of which date back some 100 years were all destroyed in the fire.

3rd horseman is commonly called Famine, but he specifically does NOT blight crops, does not damage food. His weapon is the scales, and "destroys" not by weather or worm, but market manipulation.
A closer name might be "Inflation" or "Capital" or "Bread Fixing" or "Galen Weston."
@dicklp@jakeadelstein@thedailybeast I remember Lucie’s family being on a morning show, forgive me not remembering which. They came to Japan while the investigation was ongoing. While her father was speaking they cut to a commercial break with their theme music. I almost threw up in disgust.

Last week @ntvnewszero released a shameful segment that exploited my work by holding a public "competition" with online trolls, misinformed viewers and dismissed my accurate issues on generative AI. Here's my statement on this unfortunate segment:
The Graphic Artist Guild put out a “both-sides” statement about gen-AI.
If they can not, or will not, stand up for the artists whose work was stolen for training datasets, then they have no integrity and are not worthy of claiming credibility in ethics.
Too bad discourse around stealing musicians' labor is Ed Sheeran vs The Estate Of Marvin Gaye, instead of Spotify and YouTube vs every musician who's ever lived
@Ninetail_foxQ Hiring a living, breathing, professional illustrator was also an option. But I guess that person might have used the income on frivolous things like food and taxes.
