Today I had a new client in town she was referred by the client I had yesterday. She called me to come and do her child's laundry. May God bless my hustle๐๐ฏ๏ธ
Jesus told dozens of parables.
He only explained a handful of them directly.
The parable of the sower is one that means He wanted to make sure no one missed it.
It's not really about farming.
It's about why the same message lands so differently in different hearts.
And the uncomfortable question underneath it: which soil are you? ๐งต
The things God has done in your life are not just for you.
They are your testimony.
Your weapon.
Your witness to a world that desperately needs to hear His name.
A Prayer of Humility & Surrender
Father God,
I come before You today with an open and yielded heart, and I mean that with every fiber of my being. I am tired of striving. I am tired of building my own kingdom while Your kingdom awaits my full participation. Today, I choose to step down from the throne of my own life and place You firmly, finally, and joyfully back where You belong!
Search me, Lord! Search every corner of my heart and expose every hidden place where pride has taken root. Every area where I have quietly elevated my own opinion above Your Word, every moment where I sought credit that belonged to You, every time I resisted correction because my ego could not bear to be wrong bring it all to light! I want none of it. I renounce it today, and I ask You to replace it with a humility so genuine and so deep that it becomes the defining mark of how I live.
I surrender my reputation; let Yours be exalted. I surrender my agenda; let Yours be accomplished. I surrender my timeline, my methods, my carefully constructed plans; let Your sovereign purposes prevail over every single one of them. Not my will, Lord, Yours. Always Yours!
There is a freedom in this surrender that the world cannot give and cannot take away. I feel it even now: the relief of releasing what I was never meant to carry, the joy of trusting the One who is infinitely more capable than I could ever be.
I am Yours, Lord. Completely. Unreservedly. Joyfully.
Have Your way. I surrender all.
Amen.
