Before Yato buried Yukine, he read all of his letters. I picture him sitting in the snow, smoothing out the crumpled pieces of paper on his lap and reading every word written on them. He does this even though he knows what they say; it’s a symbolic act, a tribute to the dead boy

Sometimes I forget how bad it was before he met Yato. Yukine wandering for decades completely ALONE, knowing how he died and scared of returning to the mountains, then starting to lose himself and coming ever closer to dissolving into nothing. . . 💔

Yato suffered for so long thanks to his father and now Yukine, his pride and joy, is under his father’s manipulation/control. Yato saw Yukine die horrifically at the hands of his abuser and now he is in the hands of Yato’s own abuser. Can you imagine what he’s feeling? #Noragami
