EDM Resource $edm.v up strongly today, 52 week high. Looking for final permit for zinc, gypsum, lead, gold production at Scotia Mine in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Market completely misreads $NVO Q2 ER
Huge upgrade of both revenue and profit.
Gross margin is reported 78.2%. Down from 82.7% last year.
This could easily be miscalculated as low margin on wegovy pill.
BUT in Q2 NVO did another smaller re-org in supply chain and stoped a new capacity expansion fill finish project in Denmark. In Odense.
They took a non cash 3B dkk writ down on capacity. They don’t mention specifically the project in Odense. But it fits with timing and an amount there around.
If we deduct that 3B then gross profit would have been 82% vs 82.7% last year.
During Q2 NVO had said to analyst that wegovy pill margin would be the same as gross margin reported earlier.
Wegovy revenue hit exactly analysts concensus at 22.7B. But it was actually wegovy injections in IO (all markets except US) that surprised.
Seems as IQVIA has overstated wegovy injections in US.
But the main surprise Ozempic was up. Some adjustments on previous rebates in US. So it landed 3B dkk or 20% higher than my estimate.
But Ozempic also did better in IO. Higher volumes.
Overall the numbers are a bit “muddy”. Ozempic US does move things. But even excluding that, ER was much better than anyone had expected.
IO sales up by 10%!
One very interesting information is FDa has accepted filing of MASH indication with wegovy pill. FDA decision in Q1 2027
If wegovy pill gets MASH indication, that’s a way for many to get insurance coverage for wegovy pill. That could potentially be a boost for 2027
With this Q2 ER SP should be UP and not down.
I expect less negative reactions tomorrow morning when stock exchange in Denmark opens. And then it’s up to management to shed more light on what ever concerns investor might have.
$NVO upgrades 2026 revenue and income
Guidance.
Huge huge surprise NVO had 7% growth in Q2 where everyone including myself had negative growth.
Also adjust guidance range much more than anyone had expected

Fierce Pharma updated its chart tracking $NVO ’s Oral Wegovy and $LLY ’s Foundayo prescriptions.
It is still a thing of beauty for Novo Nordisk.

$GRRR revenue is expected to increase by +300% over the next 12 months
And this was expected BEFORE the $2 Billion deal was made last week
Current Market Cap is $500 million
$GRRR could 5 X from here and be fair valued only.

Novo takes the lead in Europe 🇪🇺 🚀
While the market is focused on Lilly’s US momentum, Novo may be taking back the lead in Europe.
Today’s CHMP agenda is tough reading for $LLY:
• Oral Wegovy: “For adoption”
• Orforglipron: still at Day-120 questions
This is not close.
More and more points to:
• CHMP opinion this week
• EU approval during the summer
• commercial launch potentially already in Aug/Sep
At the same time, Lilly increasingly looks like a 2027 Europe story.

$NVO $NOVO Novo Nordisk was added as a new long idea at research firm Hedgeye with the potential for 52% to 117% upside.
Says: At $46, the Street is mispricing a $ 50M-patient US TAM, a duopoly that current pricing has effectively sealed, and a Wegovy pill launch tracking ahead of any prior obesity drug.
Hedgeye thinks the Street is making a category error.
Says: At current prices, Novo and Lilly have effectively secured a duopoly. By cutting price aggressively now, the two incumbents have raised the barrier to entry and pulled forward the volume curve, trading near-term margin for durable share. We believe the market is mispricing the duration and breadth of the volume opportunity, and discounting too much margin compression that we think is largely already in the multiple.
Hedgeye says its model points to 3.6M monthly scripts exiting 2026 (inflecting on the July 1 Medicare Bridge launch) and 2027 EPS of $5.06 vs. Street at $3.55, ~43% above consensus.
At 14x that's a $70 stock; at a re-rated 20x, it's a $100 stock — implying ~52–117% upside.
Week 17 Wegovy pill sales crossed $2B.....
It only took wegovy pill 17 weeks to reach a weekly TRx sales that corresponds to about $2.1B, if we had 52 weeks with same level.
17 weeks....... just 5 months ago we had analysts that had only $400 million in wegovy pill sales for 2026. And with peak sales in $2-3B
Wegovy pill will cross $3B this year.
Its only just begun.

Novo Q1'26: the Wegovy pill is now a multi-blockbuster in flight.

This is how a drug dealer should talk about their products
$NVO CEO: Customers want an efficacious, safe, tolerable drug they can trust....
"I believe we have all of those. We have a situation where we are by all means the most efficacious pill in the market"
Novo Nordisk $NVO Q1 26 breakdown:
• Net sales: $15.2B vs $11.2B est.
• Gross margin: 85.9% vs 81.3% est.
• Reported operating profit: $9.4B vs $5.0B est.
1) Reported operating profit was boosted by a $4.2B non-recurring 340B provision reversal.
Adjusted operating profit was $5.2B, down 6% at constant exchange rates.
2) Everything comes down to the Wegovy pill adoption really here:
• Wegovy pill sales came in at $354M vs $182M expected.
• Q1 prescriptions were around 1.3M.
• Total prescriptions since launch are now above 2M.
• Weekly prescriptions exceeded 200,000 by mid-April.
A really strong launch here.
3) Ozempic also beat, with $4.4B in sales vs $4.1B expected.
4) Obesity Care sales hit $3.3B vs $3.0B expected, up 22% at CER.
5) Novo also raised FY26 guidance:
• Adjusted sales now expected down 4% to 12% at CER, versus prior down 5% to 13%.
• Adjusted operating profit also expected down 4% to 12% at CER.
So was it a good quarter?
The quarter looks optically huge because of the one time 340B reversal, but the strategic signal here from the company is Wegovy pill demand.
Novo needed proof that oral GLP-1 adoption could re-accelerate the story again for both the stock and the company itself.
Q1 really gave them that if you ask me.
Great start to the year.
🚨 JUST IN - The FDA flagged a case of hepatic failure in a 56-year-old man using $LLY's Foundayo.
The event “has the potential to create market confusion if not laid out with full background”
Details in the FDA report were thin and it remains unclear if there were other circumstances that could have played a role in the patient’s outcome

Most people are misreading what Novo Nordisk just did. 📈🚀
This isn’t “an Ozempic pill.”
It’s a shift from premium drug
→ mass-market platform 💰💰💰
Rybelsus didn’t win as a brand.
Ozempic already has.
So Novo does the obvious:
👉 One brand (pen + pill)
👉 Lower friction → massive adoption
💰 My estimates:
Base: +$10–15B annual revenue
Bull: +$20–30B
Strengths:
Pills unlock a much bigger market
Ozempic brand = built-in demand
Cash-pay ($149–$299/month) opens direct channel
Defends against Eli Lilly
https://t.co/iK8BfGZhVI
You don´t know it yet, but this marks the beginning of $NVO reversal
The Revenue from this product will stack up quickly
There is some degree of resistance to using injections, specially for the first time.
There is no such thing for pills.
Some people treat them like candy nowadays, unfortunately.
This expands the SAM by SO MUCH $NVO
New data on $NVO 's Wegovy suggests potential beyond weight loss.
A Danish study published in The Lancet shows Wegovy reduced heavy drinking days by 41%, versus ~26% in the placebo group.
The trial included 108 participants, with 88 completing it, and results were statistically significant across all alcohol-related measures.
Researchers say the findings are robust, adding to growing evidence that GLP-1 drugs may reduce alcohol cravings.

Good numbers on the surface, but Foundayo WILL NOT perform to expectations.
$LLY lost the Pill race. They've lost about 10-15B in future revenue against $NVO.
I estimate $NVO's oral Wegovy will take 60% of the TAM against Foundayo.
Too many risks from taking Foundayo that Oral Wegovy doesn't have.
