@MumbrianSpinner I’ve just done the exact same thing for my Mum. Howdens did the policy. Buildings only, had to turn off all the utilities and get someone to check on it once a month. I’ll cancel the policy once the sale goes through and will get the pro-rata premium back minus an admin fee.

@MrsGuiltyRage I was in a similar position Sam. I ended up contracting. Took a few short term low paid jobs to build up some history. Then secured a couple of longer term lucrative contracts. Give it a try.
