George grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, less than 1 hour from Minnesota. George’s teammates at the Brick included 3 members of Team USA at this WJC: Max Plante, Adam Kleber & Brendan McMorrow.

I think it’s so cool how a little tournament when we were 10 years old turns out to be a tournament when we’re 20 years old . . . He just doesn’t get to play on my team anymore . . . We need to see changes to some social benefits in Canada;

* Old Age Security - must be paid to Canadian citizens only and after they worked at above minimum wage job in Canada for 10+ years.

* Canada Child Benefit - must be paid only to Canadian citizens and a minimum employment history of 5 years in Canada beforehand (for immigrants).

* Healthcare insurance is a must for all immigrants for the first 5 years with reduced cost for economic migrants in skilled labour after 5 years. None citizens must have health insurance otherwise to get health care.

We need to remove all free rides, and abuse and scams rewards.
