It is such a weak and fragile god who needs a political party, a president, Supreme Court, and a nation to fight their battles for them.

A teenage boy seriously assaulted a girl.

People immediately reminded everyone that he was young and had his whole life ahead of him.

The girl was also young.

She also had her whole life ahead of her.

But somehow his age became a reason to protect his future, while hers became something she was expected to recover from.

We need to stop treating a boy's potential as more important than a girl's trauma.

Bill Clinton, George Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden will all be in New York next Friday for the 25 year commemoration of 9/11. Biden attending even as his health is declining.
Trump will not attend. The only living American President not to be there.
Why? To protest the fact that the memorial is non-political and the presidents are not being invited to speak at the service.
