Despite the prevalence of digital & streaming for both

Music is still released on Vinyl, CDs and even Cassette

There's no reason games cannot continue to be on physical discs

@virkokka It may be more expensive (maybe £5/£10 more) but the argument is you actually own it and no one can take that away from you. And this pushback isn’t to limited run things (we are talking about the standard games) the ones that are the most common to consumers

This is bad😮 Hopefully this gets a huge pushback from the community and they backtrack on this decision. If not we as gamers are locked into whatever prices PlayStation puts games up for on their store, which hardly has any deals and keeps old games at high prices still.
