@synchromised@kristenhowerton@madsagascar You're very much mistaken. "Talk therapy" like "psychotherapy" is a broad umbrella term that refers to the use of verbal psychological techniques that address problematic or distressing behaviours, congitions, and emotions. CBT and DBT are types of talk therapy.
I just know that Nolan was SO MAD that Barbie was released the same day, thinking it'd detract from his launch. When the truth is, Oppenheimer would never have preformed this well its opening weekend without the draw of Barbenheimer
people seeing barbie first are wild. the schedule needs to be
black coffee and a cigarette
oppenheimer around 11 (its 3 hours)
mimosas and brunch
barbie around 6/7
dinner, drinks, club
@pinkmanesque Shiv screwed Kendall over before he could screwed her and Roman over.
Did she save him? Sure, but let's not pretend that was ever her intention.
These people aren't saints, and anyone trying to treat them as such weren't paying attention to the show. They are all snakes.
@smartsuzysunset @Ponderosa1415 @scotthsutw1 @sumlyn_7 If Shiv supported Ken (and Rome), she also would have been "empowering two men who betrayed her" or did you forget that they iced her out after Logan died? And if you think that Ken wasnt just gonna fuck her and Rome over, you havent been paying attention. They all deserve misery
@BobJ1234567898@scotthsutw1 @sumlyn_7 THIS. I would have been so disappointed if they didn't end up miserable. They are all miserable people, none better than the other. Anyone who was hoping for something different or was rooting for a specific character, completely missed the entire point of the show.
People really think that this pathetic loser of a man would succeed? At every turn, every decision he has ever made blew up in his face. He was always going to be a pale, depressing, discount imitation of his father. It begs the question, have we all been watching the same show.
Peoples love of Kendall Roy should be studied, truly. #SuccessionHBO
He is a deeply selfish, self-aggrandising, narcisstic, hypocritical, abusive, two faced human being. He adopted all of Logans worst traits, with none of skill, talent or swagger to back it up.
@guzman4life_ Idk how anyone could say "Rome is doing it to himself", when you see Ken deliberately pushing down on his head. It's clearly to show how Ken forces Rome into situations harmful to his well-being, out of duty to the Roy cause. Much like Logan. Hence why Rome seems free at the end
@guzman4life_ Exactly right. Ken did it for his own benefit, and masked it as a selfless act. Otherwise Rome was gonna spiral and call into the meeting which would look bad for their front. Rome's "I hate you" after shows that he didn't want his stitched popped, he just wanted to leave.
@EmmaTolkin The act was very paternalistic, coming across as "im doing this for your own good" and "this hurts me more than you". And perhaps thats how Ken rationalises it, and the thing is that Logan probably thought the same. Ultimately, Roman ends up hurt and Ken gets what he wants.
@EmmaTolkin People are obtusely misreading this scene as "Ken knows Rome is a masochist and is satiating him." Ken wouldnt cater his brothers fetish (ew) and is a deeply selfish person. He popped those stitches so that Rome didnt have an excuse to call into the meeting and thus can save face
