Police arrive at Gallagher Hill in attempt to get people down from the fence, but ultimately lining the fence to prevent more people climbing up. Shortly after Oasis took the stage at Heaton Park.
(Delayed tweet as connection is struggling with the amount of people here)
Sums up how miserable the UK and Manchester City Council is. But no doubt they’ll be saying how we did things differently and how these gigs “inspired a generation” while continuing to deny people access to music unless they pay over the odds.
Gene Hackman’s death has truly upset me. His poor wife dies of natural causes and for a week a 95 year old man with Alzheimer’s was left alone and frightened and unable to call for help. My God. Check on your loved ones. May they both be at peace.
To those in pain.
No one knows your pain. There are no cures, only experiences to share….
Pain is an unforgiving thing, without heart or humanity. It keeps on well after you feel broken. Does not let up even when you cry mercy.
Pain laughs as you try to run from it , or hide behind a bottle of rattling things. You are its sport, like a rabbit to a fox.
But pain hates company. It is a lonely thing and is so much stronger in its solitude.
Decide to become its company, travel alongside it, press up against it. Stare it down in the little hours when it wakes you. Scream in its face when you watch the sunrise. Together.
Be it. Become bigger than it. Bother it. Boss it.
It is not your master. You are its King, and it is your prisoner. Unwelcome. Unwanted. But yours.
Now you are its master. No matter the hell it makes

Hang in there my lovelies.

If Christmas is hard ,
If you lost someone dear,
Just look in your heart And you'll know they're still here.
The star in the sky ,
The light falling snow ,
The Robin outside ,
It seems like they know ,
If this is a time Where you're struggling through ,
Just do what you can ..
For what matters is you.
There's no need to be merry ..
No need to be bright ..
Just do what you can ..
It will all be alright.
Sending much love to anyone struggling this Christmas.

Christmas is a time for family and remember it’s not what’s under the tree, it’s who is around it. 🎄
Christmas is also a time for reflection…this is me and my Dad…50 years ago today. ❤️
I’d love to have Christmas dinner with him tomorrow.
#MerryChristmas 😘
1/2 My dad unfortunately collapsed and passed away at the Wolves game last Monday night, he had to be carried up stairs from his seat in block 123 to be able to have CPR performed on him, his watch went missing when he was moved and we desperately want it back..
