Feel like the mess is too big to tackle? Find a messy flat surface (table/counter/shelf/etc.) and put 10 things on it away. Repeat once/twice/several times a day. Give yourself permission to stop after 10 things, and try not to get overwhelmed by the overall mess.
Two weeks ago, I had four precious 12-year-old girls, including my daughter, with me at the county fair. They were getting blue Icees and corndogs for the walk to the car and ride home. (1/21)

After he died in 2019 we aimed for a trip in his honor but then covid hit.
