After two years of developing the #1 Web3 security solution, it's time for our brand to mature and match our unparalleled quality.

MintDefense is no more.

Welcome to the new Kerberus era.

We're excited to announce our new brand, Kerberus, and the rebranding of our flagship product, MintDefense, as Kerberus Sentinel3.

In 2021/2022, when we first introduced MintDefense, NFTs and mints were all the rage, and so were drainers. Tormented by the outrageous number of user losses, we created MintDefense to detect scam sites in real-time without relying on blacklists which were the only solutions available back then and were not effective as most of the damage from drainers is done in the first 5-10 minutes.

We chose a name and style that matched NFTs and protected the wallets of users who were minting them.
It also reflected the level of our protection, geared only towards Web3 sites.

As we grew, the name didn't make sense anymore:
- Is it only for mints?
- Is it only for NFTs?
- Is it a tower defense game? (yes, some asked this)

We are not a game (duh), but we are changing our identity to reflect that we do much more than protect mints and NFTs.

Here's what Kerberus Sentinel3 currently does:
- Protects you from drainer sites in all EVM chains, malicious address interactions, and accidentally leaking your private crypto data. Its advanced heuristics engines have detected every scam site our users landed on since 01/2023, resulting in 0 customer losses.
- Automatically flags malicious Twitter accounts in your feed, preventing you from engaging with them.
- Monitors the safety of your assets 24/7 on-chain, protecting you from threats such as address poisoning, front-running, and sandwich attacks.
- Sends live alerts on emergency crypto security incidents where your assets are potentially at risk, and your immediate attention is required (e.g., thirdweb vulnerability, Ledger Connect Kit compromise).

Kerberus Cyber Security, Inc. is the name of our company, to which we have always planned to rebrand eventually.
