i hate having a chronic pain illness i feel sad bc people tell me 'i hope you feel better soon' but i am never going to feel better, to me a good day is being in a 5 out of 10 pain level and some people don't understand this

i could be smiling and laughing or doing literally anything but the pain is still always there and it's days like today where i can barely leave my bed even after taking 2 painkillers it makes me scared for the future
