i am HEARTBROKEN over #CharlotteMaxwellJones and #KabulSmallAnimalRescue team- rescue dogs and military dogs - all released under a “blanket law” in airport to roam streets of Kabul fend for themselves - Charlotte would not let go of rescue puppy and so she’s also left in Kabul

In memory of the Syrian archaeologist #KhaledAlAsaad (1932-2015), in charge of the management of the #Palmira site. Despite the torture of Islamic State, he did not reveal the location of the archaeological pieces. He was killed at the age of 81. 🤝
