Pride is celebration. Pride is resistance. Pride is community.
This month and every month, I’m proud to stand with LGBTQIA+ Minnesotans, especially our trans neighbors who continue to face relentless attacks simply for being who they are.
I’ve spent my career fighting to protect your rights, defend your freedoms, and make sure Minnesota remains a place where everyone can live openly, safely, and with dignity.
Because when they come for one of us, they’re taking on all of us.
Happy Pride, Minnesota 🏳️🌈
This is the agency they are trying to send billions of dollars to with zero guardrails or accountability while federal agents continue creating chaos and acting with impunity.
Thank you to @SenatorAndyKim for standing up for his constituents.
Minnesotans deserve safe and affordable homes. But private equity firms are buying up manufactured home parks across the country, leading to huge lot rent spikes and unsafe park conditions. That’s why everyday MN's are pushing back to demand more for our families & neighbors.
No matter our age, race, or income we all have a part to play in our democracy.
Every right we have exists because ordinary people organized for it, protected it, and refused to let powerful people dictate their rights.
Together, we are more powerful than fear and division.
Let us learn to be rich in a different way: more attentive to relationships, more intent on valuing the common good, more attached to the local area, more grateful in welcoming and integrating those who come to live with us.
No nation, no society, and no international order can call itself just and humane if it measures its success solely by power or prosperity while neglecting those who live at the margins. Indeed, Christ’s love for the least and the forgotten compels us to reject every form of selfishness that leaves the poor and the vulnerable invisible.
Minnesotans deserve to know where their representatives stand on protecting our children.
It’s long past time for House Republicans to hold a vote on gun violence prevention.
Legislators agree HCMC needs to be saved. They're stuck on how to pay for it. WMM coalition director Eric Harris Bernstein in the @StarTribune: stop searching for the perfect solution. The perfect solution is the one that works. READ: https://t.co/OfgAKjBJnI #MNLeg#SaveHCMC
While the Trump Administration sees voting as a threat, Minnesota knows voting is a source of empowerment and pride.
We will continue to lead the fight to protect every American’s right to an equal voice in elections.
We fund roads and schools without debating who can afford them. Public hospitals shouldn't be different. The fix is on the table. Let’s get it done. https://t.co/7iv9U6Ji8T

Our elections don’t run on their own. They run because people step up.
Teachers. Retirees. Students. Parents. Neighbors.
People who take on long days and a big responsibility to make sure every vote counts. That’s what it means to be by the people. For the people.
The irony of posting about Earth Day just a week after we lost a vote to save the Boundary Waters isn’t lost on me. It’s a tough loss that we’re still processing. But today, of all days, should remind us why these special places are worth fighting for.
The Boundary Waters have some of the cleanest water that you will find anywhere in this country. Endless lakes and streams filled with bass and pike and trout. Completely untouched nature and only accessible via canoe.
Allowing this copper-sulfide mine in the headwaters of the BWCA will threaten all of that, but the fight isn’t over. It looks different, yes, but the mission is still fundamentally the same: These waters are the birthright of every single one of us, and it’s our job to protect them from the corporate greed of Antofagasta. Not this mine. Not this place.
This coalition of Tribal Nations, outdoorsmen, conservationists, public lands enthusiasts and just your average Minnesotans who have been lucky enough to visit this place will still fight against this mine.
And anyone who is feeling defeated should look at the comments on Pete Stauber’s posts last week to get a sense of just how mad we are and how hard we are going to continue fighting.
Because the Boundary Waters have such special meaning. It’s a sacred place, and we will never stop defending it.

HCMC is fighting to survive while Big Tech gets a free pass on taxes. HF 4343 would change that — making billionaire platforms finally pay their share. It's time to fix what's broken.

Melissa Hortman was a dedicated public servant who worked to make clean energy more accessible across Minnesota. Great to see the Community Solar Garden Program she helped build now carries her name—a fitting tribute to her legacy.

Instead of supporting the needs of all Minnesotans, MN House Republicans are pushing for dozens of local sales tax increases for their own districts. Not only is it hypocritical, it will make our system more inequitable. A kid's chances shouldn't depend on their zip code. #MNLeg
Disgraced and fired Bovino getting into people’s replies showing his utter ignorance on the law shows you why his operation in MN was basically a crime spree.
