Beautiful poignant message ahead of the G7 gathering to discuss the environment and the less fortunate. Shame they illegally destroyed the environment in Cornwall for the meeting. 'Gee Seven' https://t.co/9CBPhomiiO
EMERGENCY RHINO ORPHAN APPEAL: Leko has had his first mud-bath! We're very pleased with Leko's progress & we're just £1600 away from our £20,000 target. Don't forget that all donations to fund Leko's first year of round the clock care will be MATCHED https://t.co/rQTQfjzF8D
@tottaylor1@CornwallCouncil@carbisbay So so sad. It was simply stunning coastline. Now ruined forever for a climate change summit! Oxymoron right there.
EMERGENCY RHINO ORPHAN APPEAL: Little Guy is thoroughly enjoying his feeds! Please donate to our urgent appeal to help provide the vital milk he needs to keep getting stronger 🙏https://t.co/rQTQfjzF8D #RhinoOrphan
@Porthynys @MebyonKernow I don’t believe that CCC were even given a choice to host the G7. Any decision has been nullified by government because of the beast that is the G7. Hope CCC will enforce replanting and not allow this destruction again.
@GDJPWhalen @_Gareth_Lye_ I bet CCC had no choice and were overruled by central government. Carbis bay making a pretence of eco lodges and all possible because of G7. They can secure carbis bay for G7 officials and reap the rewards. The bigger environmental issues don’t matter for that
@_Gareth_Lye_ @haircutjonesy It’s not ecology, it’s financial greed If they did this construction when there was no covid lockdown there would be far more conversation and action against Carbis Bay. Timing is everything. Greed wins again. Have CCC been given nice backhanders?
@_Gareth_Lye_ That’s money talking more then concerns for the environment. Cornwall council just want the money and are ruining the stunning coast path to St Ives
