Well this is AWESOME. Thank you @TIME 💗 Thank you Pari Dukovic and thank you for your unbelievably kind words @ShawnMendes (I had no idea you were writing this and just found out when I saw this!!)
Thinking about how I got written up twice while working at chick fil a & the first time it was because I didn’t ask a customer if they had fun weekend plans & the second time it was because I said you’re welcome instead of my pleasure :)
I apologize for your experience but they don’t deserve a bad rep. growing up non LDS all my friends, the people that truly brought joy and accepted me were all LDS. A religion doesn’t make you a rude person. They teach love just like every other religion. that’s all on the person https://t.co/LtEROkg6Pv
As a non-mormon who has grown up around the LDS religion their entire life, I️ can disagree with this. I️ was CONSTANTLY judged and talked down on for the things I️ did and the clothes I️ wore. I️ left Mountain View Sophomore year because of this. Speak for yourself. https://t.co/ZVexdgTxhh
@shaleigh_horton @hay_gibbs12 because the sad part is.... they're are people like that in every religion. I strongly believe those trying to be a good person should not be drug down by those not truly practicing what is preached. No one is perfect and no one can blame their actions on a religion.
@shaleigh_horton @hay_gibbs12 I noticed in all your tweets you used words like "they're","they'll", or "them" People do suck and I'm sorry for the way you've been treated! Just find something that keeps you close to christ and never turn your back on him <3 clearly those people aren't true followers of christ
@CamrynRigby so much respect for you girl. and I agree people need to realize if you’re a good person, doing good things, no one is gonna judge and no one should
