Umar ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) said:
“We are a people whom Allah honored through Islam; if we seek honor through anything else, Allah will humiliate us.”

Shaykh al-Albani (رحمه الله) ya ce:
“A da, idan suna son wulaƙanta wani mutum, sukan aske gemunsa. Amma yanzu, Musulmi yana wulaƙanta kansa ba tare da ya sani ba ta hanyar aske gemunsa.”

Shaykh al-Albani (رحمه الله) said:
“In the past, if they wanted to insult someone, they would shave his beard. But now, a Muslim insults himself without realizing it by shaving his beard.”

Fudayl ibn Iyad (رحمه الله) ya ce:
“Bushara ga wanda ya nisanci mutane, alhali Allah ne abokin zamansa, kuma yake zubar da hawaye saboda zunubansa.”

Fudayl ibn Iyad (رحمه الله) said:
“Glad tidings to the one who feels estranged from people while Allah is his companion, and who weeps over his sins.”

Ibn Masʿud (رضي الله عنه) ya ce:
“Lalle yana daga cikin Imani ka so ɗan’uwanka [Musulmi] ba don ka san shi da kanka ba, ba don akwai dangantaka tsakaninku ba, kuma ba don wani dukiya da ya ba ka ba. Kada ka so shi sai don Allah kaɗai!”

Ibn Masʿud (رضي الله عنه) said:
“Indeed, it is a sign of Iman to love your [Muslim] brother without personally knowing him, without being related to him, and without any wealth he has given you. Love him only for the sake of Allāh!”

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) ya ce:
“Bawa yana da wani shamaki tsakanin sa da Allah, sannan yana da wani shamaki tsakanin sa da mutane. Duk wanda ya cire shamakin da ke tsakaninsa da Allah, Allah zai cire shamakin da ke tsakaninsa da mutane.”

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:
“A servant has a veil between himself and Allah, and a veil between himself and the people. Whoever removes the veil between himself and Allah, Allah will remove the veil between him and the people.”

Anas bn Malik (رضي الله عنه) ya ce:
“Wallahi, ba mu kasance muna ƙarya ba, kuma ba mu ma san mene ne ƙarya ba.”
-At-Tabari ne ya rawaito shi a cikin Tafsir ɗinsa (12527), kuma Al-Albani ya inganta shi a matsayin hasan (ingantaccen hadisi) a cikin As-Silsilah as-Sahihah (7/1419)
Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) said:
“By Allah, we never used to lie, nor did we know what lying was.”

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) ya ce:
“Idan mutum ya mutu, mala’iku suna cewa: ‘Me ya gabatar (na ayyukan alheri)?’ Alhali mutane suna cewa: ‘Me ya bari a baya (na dukiya da abin duniya)?’”

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) said:
“When a person dies, the angels say, ‘What has he sent ahead?’ while the people say, ‘What has he left behind?’”

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) ya ce:
“Wasu daga cikin Salaf sun ce: ‘Idan ka ga Allah yana ci gaba da yi maka ni’imomi alhali kai kana ci gaba da saɓa masa, to ka yi hattara. Domin wannan wata fitina ce ta jarrabawa da yake jawo ka da ita.’”

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:
“Some of the Salaf said: ‘If you see that Allah continues to bestow His favors upon you while you persist in disobeying Him, then beware. Verily, it is only a form of allurement (a trial) by which He lures you.’”
