@MayorKeller@cabq@ABQCityCouncil One of my kids favorite books is about Louis Pasteur and the discovery of pasteurization. This was a major breakthrough for health and for the dairy industry. I hope Albuquerque kids read it too and fast before they get sick from this sanitation rollback nonsense.
@anandiyermd @fitzpatkaren2 @GeriPulm@pallipulm Wish we could do more of this! I have never met in person outpt with a cotreating specialist but once managed to do team meeting in person with pt, family, behavioral health, and PT involving multiple people (including me) taking the day off of work…
@cmyeaton My kids district too, with push for doctors notes for illness/appts. (🙋🏼♀️family doc) sick notes are a big burden! most URI do not need an appt & primary care access is tight. Staying home when sick is a good idea for rest, recovery, and not to spread germs! @ShorewoodLearns
🧵My latest: Inequality becomes entrenched with each new booster rollout. Gone are the days of intensive vaccine campaigns.
“Urging people to get boosters has really only worked for Democrats, college graduates, and people making over $90,000 a year,” says @gregggonsalves
@emily_fri Yes 💯 If the healthcare workforce rowed together, even just all physicians or all nurses etc. the leverage for change could be there…but I think care about the patient in front of us gets us to put up with WAY too much and overwhelming scope of the problem keep holding us back.
@DBelardoMD@SteveBrownMD Right! The ones that get calls back to the office because I talk about risk optimization without using the word “cleared” 🤦🏼♀️
Oh wow does this ring true! I have always joked that I will at least enjoy getting to wear running shoes with work clothes when I’m being written off as too old to lead. Currently way too middle aged yet also still looks too young to know what she’s doing. 😜
Woke up early am because the air purifier kept cycling to highest setting, we had left some windows open, as people without AC are apt to do in July. Turns out aqi has been ~200. I’m new to ecodread, anyone have any tips?
Really enjoyed this logical, thoughtful piece. Students for Fair Admission "has used the term 'race neutral' in ways that suggest various possible meanings, and we do not know which the Court will take up in its ruling," Issa Kohler-Hausmann writes: https://t.co/5eECnKCIOv
