Jesus identifies with those who are hungry, thirsty, strangers, sick, and prisoners. He tells us that we are "blessed" when we respond to these poverties with love—not turning away but drawing near to those in need. #GospelOfTheDay (Mt 25:31-46)

I have been praying this more lately. It helps in difficult times.
“Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.”
St. Teresa of Avila
Often we struggle to have free time, but today Jesus invites us to find the time that frees us: the time we dedicate to God, that lightens and heals our hearts, that increases peace, confidence and joy in us and saves us from evil and loneliness. #GospelOfToday Mt 22:1-14
Let’s #PrayTogether for the dear people of Morocco, stricken by a devastating earthquake. I pray for the injured, for those who have lost their lives, and for their relatives. I thank the rescuers and those who are working to alleviate the suffering of the people.
Let us oppose the force of weapons with that of charity, the rhetoric of violence with the tenacity of prayer. Let us do so above all for the many countries that are suffering due to war; let us intensify our prayer for beleaguered Ukraine!
How good it would do our relationships, as well as our lives of faith, if we were to be docile, to truly pay attention, to soften up in the name of compassion and the good of others, like Jesus with the Canaanite woman. #GospelOfTheDay
Dear young people, God sees how good you are. He knows what he has sown in your hearts. Let it grow. Treasure it with care so that when the inevitable moment of fatigue comes, you can revive the graces of these days. #WYD
Let us #PrayTogether for those who could not come because of armed conflicts and wars. I dream of #peace. I dream of young people praying for peace, living in peace and building a future of peace. Let us place the future of humanity into the hands of Mary, Queen of Peace. #WYD
I have been to many WYD and after all of them my mother always asked me, “Now what?” She was a very practical woman and wanted me to bring that zeal and enthusiasm to my struggles of daily life. So I pray for all the youth to answer the NOW WHAT with “let’s bring Christ to all.”
Let’s #PrayTogether for the populations who live at the border between Myanmar and Bangladesh, hard hit by a cyclone. I hope access to humanitarian aid will be enabled, and I appeal for a sense of solidarity to aid these brothers and sisters of ours.
When you pray, don’t be afraid to bring everything going on inside you to Jesus: emotions, fears, problems, expectations, memories, hopes. Prayer is dialogue. Prayer is life. #ApostolicJourney#Hungary
Jesus, the Living One, is with us, forever. Let the Church and the world rejoice, for today our hopes no longer come up against the wall of death, for the Lord has built us a bridge to life.
On the cross, Jesus refused to yield to despair, but he prayed and entrusted Himself to the Father. In His abandonment, he continued to love and forgive His crucifiers. Jesus, in His abandonment, asks us to see and have a heart for the many "abandoned Christs".
