We're proud to announce this year's HCEA Scholarship winners, Ellen Lafuria, (Speech and Language Pathology, Edinboro), and Allison Dorosch (Neuroscience, Pitt). President Jan Pearson and Scholarship Chair Jess Neal presented each with their $500 today at school. #HCEAproud

The Clark Bike Club has been meeting after school every Thursday to grind out the miles - even back when it was 42 degrees. They're working toward going on a group ride in May. Thank you, Mr. Bob Hand, 2nd Grade teacher at Clark, for this great opportunity for kids! #HCEAproud

Congratulations, Mrs. Esther DeMary on a successful PMEA Region II Chorus this year! Three of her students, Sophia Ives, Mackenzie Vollant, and Simon Weber, advanced to Regions, with Mackenzie earning 4th Chair and going to States - the first time for HC in 20 years! #HCEAproud

HCEA member John Knox pours countless hours annually into running the Robotics Club, helping students build a robot to compete against other schools at the annual competition. Fran Fomich also volunteered to give up her long weekend to chaperone the competition trip. #HCEAPROUD

HCEA member Lauren Kelly brings the fun to her senior high Math classes on 3.14, Pi Day! Students celebrate the never-ending decimal by snacking on pies of all kinds as they work on their Math assignments. #HCEAproud

Many at GE are the parents of our students, community members, friends, and family, and they deserve our support. It's a kid-friendly family event organized by PSEA, HCEA's state affiliate, to support workers and their families. Everyone is invited to participate.  #insolidarity
