But we can't help but notice, wonder and be concerned. It's sick-making (for me) watching NC and NF being attacked, esp. from the left.

I was confused as JL has done much for the Palestinian cause and is close to the Chomskys, as was NF, I believed. Now that NF is being attacked from all sides, I wrongly assumed JL was writing in his defence.

@meljomur @davidsirota 1)When I was in Israel in 1996 almost everyone was "left" - talking about the horrors of the occupation. When I went back in 2012 it moved more right-wing and then in 2016 even more right (posters of Trump and Bibi everywhere). Nothing ever changed for the Palestinians.
