Hearing @Meghan_Trainor talk dismissively about public schools is so disappointing. So many students have to go to public school because they don’t have the money or accessibility for private school or homeschooling. Teachers are superheroes doing the best for their kids.
Do you know what's worse than teachers having to crowdfund online for school supplies?
A district prohibiting teachers from publicly crowdfunding for supplies they need because it “makes the district look bad,” and therefore forcing teachers to buy the supplies themselves.
@NicholasFerroni Last district it was fully supported and I was able to do so many cool projects with my kids... current district has banned it and my kids have nothing. It sucks.
@teachers_market Thank you so much for the space to share. ☀️Spring is coming which means it is time to learn all about planting! We need plant🌻 supplies! Anything would be so helpful. https://t.co/vBMbbka6u6
Can you help our classroom #clearthelist ? My students love these book series & want to read more! Love seeing them so engaged in reading. All supplies go directly for students' classroom use. Thanks 4 the support. #Oscars
