The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Lincoln Heights Elementary School was held Tuesday at the site on MLK Jr. Blvd. The new school will serve up to 700 students in a facility more conducive to learning and student safety.
New traffics signals on the west side of town at S. Bellwood Rd and W. AJ Hwy were recently put into place. On Tuesday, May 23rd the new traffic signals will be turned on and operational. Motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists should be prepared to stop.

The new public safety radio system for Morristown and Hamblen County was unveiled Friday. All public safety personnel can now communicate using the same system and with no dead spots. We are the first community to fully implement the system with ALL agencies.
