SpaceX has joined three other industry groups in calling on the FCC to adopt a nationwide policy to automatically unlock phones tied to a carrier’s network 180 days after activation.
“Automatic mobile device unlocking is essential to protecting consumer choice, promoting competition, and lowering costs in the mobile marketplace. We urge the FCC to prioritize the needs of consumers and their families over large corporations’ abilities to thwart competition,” SpaceX says.

5Ge Anytime my phone says it, I’m always getting “3G” speeds. Switching off AT&T soon luckily. Back to US Mobile soon so I can teleport and use all 3 if I choose on my iPhone.

Finally might be able to kick the bucket on Spectrum. I've been waiting long enough for high split but having since moved again, it's now not even in the books until 2027/2028. Luckily found a new local WISP that may be able to serve us! But government approval is required...
