Mrs. Lloyd created a kindness garden at Midway that each student will get to add a kindness rock to! Our class painted their rocks in art class this week and were the first class to lay them on the kindness path! @MrsLloydsclass@Midway_Mustangs
Students helped me go through my bag to determine what was really important and what wasn’t. This then led us into a discussion about how to determine what’s important as we read nonfiction text. Students marked VIP (very important points) in their text while they read.
The district career specialist came and talked to our 4th graders. They enjoyed learning about the different types of jobs and doing a survey to see what type of job they might be most interested in. Thank you Ms. Moore for coming in! @Midway_Mustangs
Students carved soap today to celebrate the end of Unit 1 in reading and finishing “The Tiger Rising.” The main character, Rob, whittled wood so students took a turn in doing a little whittling themselves! They were so creative! @Midway_Mustangs
Students had fun playing this multiplication dice game that helped them interpret a multiplication problem as a comparison. @Midway_Mustangs@HookedonMath
Students have been helping stamp books as we work together to organize our classroom library! A huge shout out to Midway PTO for funding my grant to add new and updated books to my classroom library! 📚 @Midway_Mustangs
