It is over 6 months and Tinubu and his government have not been able to explain the “Energy Security Expenses” that they spent N12 trillion on.
What does “Energy Security Expenses” mean? Is it another fuel subsidy in disguise?✍️

“My house has been without electricity for the past two months. The wire was disconnected and taken to the NEPA office, yet they've continued sending electricity bills for those same two months.”
— A man expresses his frustration, as he accused NEPA of sending electricity bills to his home despite having no power supply for the past two months.
Great example of white supremacy at work, how do we know Mark Zuckerberg but not the man that created the device that we use all day everyday?

A REPUTATION DAMAGED IN THE US IS DAMAGED ALL OVER THE WORLD
How our politicians take us for granted in Nigeria is baffling. How they think we are all daft like majority of their followers is something to really study. Our media of the year 2000's have not helped in anyway, if not someone who's reputation has been damaged in the US will not sue anyone in Nigeria claiming damage to the same professional reputation that was damaged long ago. A reputation that is already damaged in the US can't be damaged again anywhere in the world. It is not possible. It is damaged, it is damaged.
In 1985, legal icon, Chief Fredrick Rotimi Williams sued Newswatch Magazine for defamation, demanding N10m as compensation for damages to his reputation by the magazine. The case was in court when Newswatch co-founder, Dele Giwa was assassinated on 19 October 1996. The late legal icon, Chief Gani Fawahinmi opted to defend Newswatch afterwards. It was a big news in Nigeria then.
When it was time for the defense to make it's case, the fearless Fawahinmi stood up and took the entire court by surprise. Nobody saw it coming. Not even Chief Williams. Chief Gani stood up in his usual fearless manner, looked at the judge in the eye in a stunning counter-move, and boldly declared that Chief Williams can not lay claims to protecting his reputation because he has NO REPUTATION to protect. Chief Fawahinmi then invoked the defense of justification. To support his argument, Fawahinmi went into Chief Williams past and exhumed controversial cases involving Williams that has to do with his reputation including a 1949 case where Chief Williams was accused of missappriating funds belonging to a client. Chief Williams was visibly angry, calling Fawahinmi's tactics a "counter-trade", arguing that what Fawahinmi is trying to say is that, "we may have labelled you, but you have done so, so wrong in the past." Fawahinmi then countered him and told the court that it was a fair game, and that if Williams was asking for a N10m as compensation, then "he must be prepared for aggravated facts of disreputation." Chief Fawahinmi pointed at Williams and told the judge, "that man seeking that pound of flesh is not worth a pound of skeleton." By this time court don scatter.
The very visibly angry Chief F.R.A Williams stormed out of the court, and that was how that case was abandoned. That case was like that of David and the Goliath. It is one of the most celebrated in legal circles in Nigeria till today.
Chief Gani Fawahinmi made a mockery of the mighty Chief Rotimi Williams. The one they called, 'Rotimi the Law'. The man who was the chairman of the 1979 Nigeria Constitution Drafting Commumittee and he never recovered.
As a lawyer, you can not steal your clients $25,000 in the US many years ago, which led to your law license being withdrawn (DEBARRED) and many years later claim someone in Nigeria damaged your PROFESSIONAL REPUTATION. Which reputation again? The same reputation that has already been damaged since 1939? Bawo lo se je? Ko possible.

It was the Senate that passed the budget which included the N1.3bn for a 'NON-EXISTENT AGENCY'. So asking them to investigate the matter is asking them to investigate themselves. What do you expect from them? To indict themselves? That can not happen under a NASS that is so shamelessly corrupt from top to bottom with a man like Akpabio as chairman and in a very corrupt society like ours.

The Nigerian judiciary is no longer perceived as truly independent. Instead, it appears to have become a tool for undermining our democracy and restricting the choices available to the Nigerian people. But in the end, God will put them to shame. Prof. Usman Yusuf
