Those on the left and the “old guard” right are for the most part beyond redemption at this point.
The psychological damage is done, and they’re cooking in a soup of hatred for Trump that has manifested from being strategically manufactured to a fact of reality for them.

Every bit of truth and reality they’re confronted with is skewed through the lens of their shared psychosis of loathing. It is this loathing and the psychological projection of MAGA being a “cult” full of the “uneducated” that justifies to them their arrogance and helps them sleep at night.

We should be prepared for the collateral damage, a future riddled with citizens unable to function on their own in society like disabled misguided soldiers and casualties of war from a war lost long ago.

Nowhere in the Oath of Office for Senator does it outline a duty to “combat hate”.
