Last project submitted, and it's officially winter break! Excited to spend some more time on personal projects. Ready to reconnect with #Python and expand on the #Java I learned. Also have a lot of reading I want to do. Yay time!
Got a 96% on the #Java final! Looks like #html and Business Ethics are both solid A's as well. Awesome semester! Looking forward to Java II, #JavaScript, and Database Fundamentals for Spring. Then, time for an internship. Lastly, two classes in the Fall, and that's graduation!
It's been another long time since I've been on, as is typical with me and social media! School's going well. I'm really getting into #Java right now. Only three semesters left until graduation! Going to spend the semester break refreshing #Python and digging deeper into Java.
School starts up again in about a week. Getting excited for my #html and #Java classes! Got a new job within the same company starting Monday, and celebrating birthdays with the family this weekend. Still picking away at coding projects and enjoying some new music along the way.
Finished #Flexbox Zombies today! On to Grid Critters tomorrow. Then, time to figure out how to build a more complex page, like one of LoC's pages. There are some pretty cool effects I'd like to learn to recreate. Example: https://t.co/gxybA0Mx6f
Long time no see! Been a while since my last post, but I'm still coding away. On the last chapter of #FlexboxZombies and have been using that info to fix some of my practice pages on #codepen. Back to school with a #java and #html classes this fall. I'll try to be around more!
Haven't done a regular update in ages, been super busy with work and school! My networking class alone feels like a part-time job. 5 weeks left until summer, and then it's time to dive back into #Python! Excited to have more coding time. #zombie#almostThere#whatIsSleep
I could use some more survey responses to help with my school paper. If anyone has experience with #telecommuting while working in a #tech job, I'd appreciate any feedback! Survey is 5-10 mins and just for class. https://t.co/4mOgAn0vdS #webdeveloper#Programming#IT#coding
Hello! I'm writing a short paper for one of my classes about #telecommuting, focusing on the #IT field. If anyone with experience could take a 5 min anonymous survey, it would be extremely helpful! #programming#webdevelopment#coding https://t.co/4mOgAmIUmk
Going to put #100DaysOfCode on pause for now. Struggling with the work/life balance with working full-time and taking classes full-time. Need to reallocate that hour to sanity time. Will continue to code and update on weekends, and then restart in summer!
#Day31: Worked mostly on random #Python problems today (guess a number, magic 8-ball, Collatz sequence, etc.). Running on little sleep, so just practicing the basics, revisiting old problems, solving them in new or cleaner ways. #100DaysOfCode
#Day30: Finally set up a #GitHub account. Had one registered for nearly a year but never used it. Figured out how the site generally works, set up Git, and started work on #pybites challenges. #100DaysOfCode
#Day29: Finished the iTunes analysis project. Did a little refactoring with the code. Not liking the mostly tutorial set-up of that book, so spent the rest of my hour solving #Python challenges. Need more problem-solving and less tutorial-following. #100DaysOfCode
#Day28: Back to #pyplot to plot song stats from iTunes files. The example code has very long, bulky functions that I'm going to refactor after everything is functional. Been restyling and renaming for clarity as I go. #PythonPlayground#100DaysOfCode
#Day27: Exploring more python with Python Playground. First project is exploring iTunes xml files. It's cool to be at the point where I can understand %95 of the sample code without the explanation! Also tangent searched %s vs .format. #100DaysofCode#newinspiration
Was stuck in a rut for a few days wanting to stick with the #django projects, but not inspired to build anything. Realized this hour is for me to explore and pursue whatever I want, especially since I'm still a newbie. On to new things! I'll return to django eventually. #Python
#Day26: Lots of homework and a paper to finish tonight, no actual coding today. Fit in about an hour's worth of reading during breaks. It's a book about common exploitation methods, why they work, and how to protect your code. A good look at machine language! #100DaysofCode
#Day25: Back in #python again now that my brain's back online. Set up another practice #django project. This one is a very basic blog structure. I have one more page to finish setting up, and then it's time to add users. #100DaysofCode
#Day24: Was half asleep, but managed to slowly make my way through some #freecodecamp challenges. Back to #python tomorrow with more app practice. #100DaysOfCode
Hoo boy, did not sleep as long as I had hoped. This is going to be an interesting 24 hours. I think I can at least get a couple of hours in between class and work, and I know work will go by fast. Wish me luck. #overnight
