Norway's whale hunting has transformed into another method of killing whales — capturing their food, krill, by the hundred-thousand tonnes.

Despite Norway being a nation located in the northernmost corners of the Northern Hemisphere, the nation (specifically, private companies based in Norway) accounts for 60% of the industrial fishing that takes place in Antarctica, way down in the Southern Hemisphere.

Why? Greed.

There should be no fishing industry in the Antarctic. https://t.co/MykywEWDIk

Groot succes, nu nog even doorduwen!

I'm Dutch, living in the Netherlands and Russia killed 196 of my fellow countrymen.

Sea Shepherd is taking the fight from the Southern Ocean to store shelves.

Help us drive krill products out of the market. Use the Krill Toolkit to pressure retailers, audit shelves and report what you find.

Industrial fleets are stripping krill from an ecosystem where whales, penguins and countless other species depend on it to survive.

What our crews expose in the Southern Ocean becomes pressure on the companies and retailers that keep this destructive industry profitable.

Contact retailers. Check their shelves. Report krill products. Support businesses that refuse to sell them.

Take the mission to land.

Stop greenwashing. Bescherm omwonenden.

Over a thousand migrating EUROPEAN TURTLE DOVES shot dead above nature reserves in MALTA in last few days. Absolutely despicable. One of the most endangered species in Europe with a decline of over 99% on 1970 numbers

@ECOWARRIORSS That’s just the western flyway (France, Spain & Portugal). There’s 10 countries in Europe that allow TD hunting so the true number will be much much higher!
